Art journal page entries for Shirley

these are the altered journal pages

i created for Shirley.

the theme was Shabby Chic Paris.

i did lots of layering on both pages.

1st i use some tissue paper w/ gold foil on it.

some shabby chic paper, torn, and applied w/ mod podge.

gesso, stamping, ephemera, flower, and some Prima bling.

same here, but also added a heart doily and some flower

lace trim.

i think they came out nice. lots of layers and texture.

Oct DT project #1 for Cynthialoowho

hi all.

well i did it.. i made it onto an awesome DT team...

i now design for Cynthialoowho.

i LOVE her templates, they are so easy to do and soo much fun to put together.

so, for my 1st DT project i made a baby banner for a friend of mine

that just had a baby girl.

she's not a crafter so i had to keep it simple.

i used the Baby Banner templet, and i think it came out soo CUTE.

the baby room's colors are yellow and gray.

i used each of the shapes from the template...dress, bib

onsie, and stroller.

the paper i used is MME Moments.

thickers for the letters, scallop circle punch,

gray lace, gray pearl trim, and Prima bling.

i also made a dangle charm w/ gray beads and a charm,

hung on the bottom.

same paper pad, yellow lace and yellow bead trim.

also added a yellow butterfly charm.

same paper.

gray pearl trim, gray Prima bling, gray flat backed pearls

for the bottom snaps.

i also made a dangle charm w/ gray beads and a charm,

hung on the bottom.

same paper pad, yellow lace and yellow crystal flowers.

yellow flower rosette trim for the wheels, Prim bling.

also added a yellow butterfly charm on the

dangle charm w/ gray beads and a charm.

same paper pad.

gray lace, gray pearl trim, and Prima bling.

i also made a dangle charm w/ gray beads and a charm,

hung on the bottom.

i then used silver eyelets and yellow lace to string up the banner.

B-day Card using Stephanie Barnards' Flip It Card Die

B-day card i made for my brother.

i kept it simple b/c he doesn't like cards usually, lol.

BUT this one comes w/ a gift card, so i think he'll like it !

i used a Stephanie Barnard Flip its Card die...

LOVE LOVE these dies.

found some pretty dark blue pattern paper

by MME, and i used the Stampin Up stamp set

Something to Say.

made the card.

layered it. LOVE how these dies have the

insert dies to cut out the side panels too.

made an extra pocket to hold the gift card :)

my 1st Project Life Swap cards !

hi all.

so i have decided to try this whole Project Life thing...

i have gotten the page protectors, the albums, and

even a Core Kit.

have i started, nope. not yet.

i need to print photos and get cracking, these albums won't fill

themselves.

i also joined a few FB groups for inspiration and swaps.

i joined my 1st swap this past month, and have just mailed out

my handmade PL cards :)

the 1st grp is "vintage tea"

i LOVE tea and have a few tea theme pics to

do, so this swap was perfect.

these are 4x6 cards, rounded. the paper is from

Recollects, and is glittered.

they have a paper doily on one side,

w/a teapot stamped and popped up,

and some bling. the TEA is a

foam alpha sticker.

on the back i used a white mini bag stamped w/

an image and inside is my card.

the 2nd grp is "fairies"

i don't really have pics for these.....but i love fairies, so

i was in, lol.

these are 4x6, rounded as well.

the paper is Graphic 45 Once Upon a SpringTime...

one of my faves.

the die cut was done using the Stampin Up Top Note Bigz Die

which has the stitching around the border, which i LOVE.

the fairy was fussy cut from the paper as well.

i then just stamped a nice quote, and added some bling.

the back is the same as the 1st card.

white mini bag w/ my card.

FSS recent projects made

some recent projects i made for a swap group on FB

called Free Spirit Cigar Box Swappers.

we swap about every other month w/ a different theme.

the theme was "how does your garden grow"

altered project : flower pot.

TRD- altered clear gift box w/ tags

this week i altered a clear gift box.

using some of Tsunami Rose Designs digital papers,

and ephemera/tags.

i added paper on top, along w/ some
black toole, a charm, metal keyand some red lace w/ bling trim.

i punched some sentiments and paper into little mason jar tags,
using my mason jar punch from EK success.
then backed them onto manilla mason jar tags.
i also included some plain manilla mason jar tags,
and some vintage tags backed on manilla.
they are all tied w/ some bakers twine to hold them together.

this will make a great gift for a special friend.
