TRD: mini pocket album

hey all.
this week i decided to make a "pocket mini album",
using Tsunami Rose Design's "Mechanical Error" digi kit.

using my Sil Cameo,
i cut out the mini pocket album out of black card stock.

i then glued all the tabs together.
(i used and ATG gun)

next i took the 4 sheets of the "Mechanical Error"
papers and cut them to fit all the surfaces.

then i added some embellishments to the cover,
used black/white bakers twine to bind it, and
a small velcro tab to attach the flap.

there are 4 pockets in all.

with a tag in each pocket.

using the leftover papers and ephemera

from the digi papers.

i think it came out super cute and i can't wait to give it away.
thanks for stopping by.

TRD: challenge #32 - anything but a card

this week's challenge for Tsunami Rose Designs,
is to create something that IS NOT a card...
using the NEW digital printable kit "Mechanical Error"

so, i made a Sticky Note holder/cover.

using my Silhouette Cameo,
i cut the base out of black card stock.
then using the digital papers i cut the cover
pieces to fit the flap and the front.
i used a bling button for the closure,
and added some bling to the flap.
i also used a rosette flower w/ a button for the center.
the pen is a Hello Kitty pen from Target
(what i had avail for the pic).

this is the inside w/ a small stack of sticky notes included.

i think this came out super cute,
and would be an awesome teacher gift.

thanks for stopping by.

TRD: 8 1/2x11 "Grunge Planks" card

i made a card using a 8 1/2 x 11
digital paper "Grunge Planks".

i used kraft card stock for the base.
i cut the "grunge planks" into 5x5.
using the Tim Holts movers and shapers heart die,
i cut a heart out of the paper.
then wrote "love" inside the heart cut out.
i wrapped black twine around the card, added a button,
and 2 mini clothes pins holding a heart that says "u" on it,
and attached them to the twine.

all in all i think this card came out cute.
could be a masculine card too.

thanks for stopping by.

black card stock
TRD digital paper
ATG gun
scissors
pop dots
lace, flower, flat back pearl, and a zipper pull
chap stick

black card stock, and the TRD digital paper.

my fav adhesive ATG gun, and sharp scissors.

i loaded the 6x6 Mechanical Error paper into the Cameo.
using a cut file from the Sil. store, i cut the outside of
the card.

inside of the card is cut using black card stock.
outside of the card using the digital paper.

both pieces folded into the card.
the black card stock has the "holder" for the chap stick.

i used the ATG gun to add glue to the back
of the black card. make sure you don't add glue
to the minded where the "holder" is.

the 2 pieces put together.

an element from the digital sheet, cut.

using the pop dot squares, i added them to the back
of the bingo element.

added the bingo element to the front.
then added the flower, pearl heart, zipper,
