Tsunami Rose- Butterfly challenge




this is my 7th  DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal "New Beginnings" 


i kept it very basic, but i think it came out good :)

Tsunami Rose DT project- anything goes


this is my 6th  DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal "New Beginnings" 


supplies needed:
tp roll
journal page
lace/trims
embellishments
adhesive - Scotch Quick Dry & hot glue gun




cut the journal page to fit the TP roll,
glue it on the roll.
pinch the bottom, glue together.
add all your laces/trims and embellies.


ta da...mini tussy mussy.
a great way to repurpose those TP rolls :)

"New Beginnings" printable journal by Tsunami Rose Designs- Card Tute..


this is my 5th  DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal "New Beginnings" 


supplies needed:
card base
journal page
lace/trims
embellishments
glitter sticker letters
TH distressing tool
adhesive - Scotch Quick Dry & hot glue gun


measure and cut the paper
to fit the card base.
use the TH distressing tool on all the edges.


make a tear on each side, open it up a lil.
cut some pink lace, glue on right under the
torn areas.
glue the paper on the card, make sure the torn areas
match up w/ the lace you already glued on.
glue on all the flowers, & bling.
add the sticker letters.


cut another page to match the inside of
the card.
glue on and add the embellies.

done.

"New Beginnings" printable journal by Tsunami Rose Designs- Card Challenge..

this is my 4th  DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal "New Beginnings" 


supplies needed:
card base
journal page
lace/trims
embellishments
sentiment stamp or typed
adhesive - i used my ATG gun & hot glue gun


measure and cut the paper
to fit the card base.
glue on.


stamp your sentiment.
add your lace/trims and embellishments



simple and easy.

TRD- Challenge #2 - Card made from a sketch

this is my 3rd project for TRD.

using the sketch provided.
this is what i came up with,
i used 1 page from the "New Beginnings"
digi journal.
i used black textured card stock and the same page
from the journal and just alternated the pages.
i found some lace that i thought went well
with the colors of the digi page.


i used a sentiment stamp, 
& colored it in w/ the Sakura white gel pen 
to add some depth.
a twine bow, and a scallop cut 
butterfly image from another page
of the journal kit.

i think it came out good.
im still new to making cards,
so it's a work in progress.

DT projects for Free Spirit Productions

these are my projects for the month of Dec for 
Free Spirit Productions.
i had a lot of fun using her products on them, 
and felt that they worked well.


1st is a card i created.

i used a digi page from  "Christmase Gift" 
 from Tsunami Rose Designs Esty
for the front
and hated to cover it up since i
thought is was soo pretty.
i used some cherubs and some pretty white trim
on the front.


on the inside i left pretty plain, 
with just the digi page from TRD "Christmas Gift".



the 2nd project was an altered paper bag.
i used TRD digi pages of "Christmas Gift"
on this one too.

i cut a page in 1/2 and used it as 2 separate pieces
for the top and bottom after folding the bottom of 
the bag up 1/2 way to form a pocket.
i also cut a envelope and journaling tag 
to tuck inside the pocket.
i used some of the crochet flower trim
the small cherubs
and some of the white trim.




on the back i used another digi page 
and some of the white/gold trim.



i LOVE how both projects came out.

"New Beginnings" printable journal by TRD - Paper bag Challenge..

this is my 2nd DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal "New Beginnings" 

this is a short tutorial on how to decorate a
paper bag using TRD printable journal pages.

supplies needed: 
paper bag/ gift bag
printed journal page(s)
adhesive - i used my atg gun
laces/trims
embellishments


fold the paper bag up until it's about 1/2 way.
glue sides so it makes a pocket.


use any deco scissors or edge punch
to trim the top of the paper bag


i also used the deco scissors to trim the paper, 
to fit the top & bottom of the bag
cut and glue.


cut out the envelope you want to use.
fold the sides and glue.


use the other 1/2 of the journal page, trimmed,
for the back of the bag.
i also used a sentiment from the envelope page
to put on the back


add some lace to the bottom.
i used a light lavender, 
to help balance the colors


add the embellishments and flowers.
tuck in the envelope inside the pocket.



ta da...
a cute altered paper bag that can be used
to give a gift.
you have 2 pockets...1 in the front, 
and the original pocket of the bag.

"New Beginnings" printable journal by Tsunami Rose Designs- Challenge #1 Anything Goes..

this is my 1st DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal "New Beginnings" 
a balsa box from Michaels (last yrs)
flowers, and lavender mini pom pom trim.


i used mod podge to glue and seal the paper on.
