TRD: Christmas Gift mini album/journal

for this month we are featuring the "Christmas Gift"

by Tsunami Rose Designs.

i loved working w/ this digital kit.

 soo much is included: pages, envelopes,

pockets, ephemera, and postcards.

i wound up using the whole kit

 in making this journal/mini album.

i kept it fairly simple to better showcase 

the kit itself, and allow for lots of pics

and journaling.

the cover has trims from Lisa's store

the snowflakes are from my stash.

glassine bags for pockets to hold the ephemera

 and post cards.

the flower from my stash.

santa button and brad from my stash.

big red blings from Miriam's Crafting supplies.

envelope from the kit, w/ a tag in it.

TRD: gift card holder

this week using the "Christmas Gift" full size journal kit from

Tsunami Rose Designs, i created a cute little

gift card holder.

using my Sil Cameo i cut it out using the paper.

i used 1 paper for the outside, decorated the front

w/ pearl bling, flowers

and a metal embellishment and large flat back pearl 

center from Miriam's Crafting Supplies.

 i had the honor of being selected to use some

of her embellishments on this week project.  :)

the inside box w/ open window was made using

a different paper from the kit. 

which is where the gift card can easily be seen.

finally i added some red ribbon, and

white fiber trim as the closure.

i think this will make a cute presentation for someone this holiday.

Scrap & Craft Boutique banner

i was asked a while back to make a banner 

for Lizzy Jose's (Elizabeth Santo) physical store.

she told me the colors were black, pink, and cream/white.

she also asked it to be mixed media style.

sooooo....i cut all 19 banner pieces by hand out of burlap,

then layered lace and cheesecloth (which i Glimmer Misted pink).

i then added the flowers, pearl trim, and black Chinese braid.

the letters i cut w/ my Tim Holtz Chip Block die, 

and glittered myself in black and pink.

i added the holes/eyelets, and used black

twine to string the pieces up.

this was the 2nd banner i made for her, as the 1st got lost

in the mail...  :(

hope she likes it and it goes well in her store.

TRD: New Beginnings full size digi kit - candy treat box

this week i made a cute

candy wrapper treat box

using the full size "New Beginings" kit

from Tsunami Rose Designs.

using my Sil Cameo, 

i cut out the box from the New Beginnings kit.

i added some seam binding to tie the box.

i added some flowers and pearls as well.

i really love how this box came out.

it will be great for a lil candy treat to a friend.

TRD: altered gift box

here is another project i created using TRD "Witches Brew" kit.
this kit is soo much fun to work with, you just have to
have it for Halloween.


 i used a gift box for a wallet,
b/c i loved the size and sturdiness,
 and 3 sheets of the digital paper.

i painted the inside edges black.

 

using the papers and some ephemera from the kit,

i altered the front and the inside of the box.

 i added lace on the corners of the top of the box,
and flared them out a little.

also added a lil pumpkin charm to the top
on the title banner.



this turned out to be the perfect lil gift box,
for a friend.

TRD - Witches Brew journal kit - "fry box"

i'm having such a blast creating with the "Witches Brew journal kit" 

from Tsunami Rose Designs.

using my Sil Cameo, i cut a "fry box" out of black card stock, 

then cut it out again using papers from the kit.

i wanted to do light layering on the front, 

so i chose a busier page to cut to put on the front, 

and on the back/inside a less busy page. 

i glued all the papers on, cut a sentiment, 

added some pop dots to it, 

then added some flowers and lace.

the papers and embellishments in the kit are soo easy to cut, 

and layer b/c they all coordinate.

i will be filling it w/ goodies for someone as a gift.

these would make awesome "treat" boxes for class or a party or even work.

Free Spirit Cigar Box Swap on FB- Sept swap - Shabby Chic

so this round was Shabby Chic,

a book box, and a tag drawer.

well....my SS doesnt like Shabby Chic,
so i made her items that were a touch SteamPunk,
and a touch shabby chic/vintage.

i used the digital kit "Mechanical Error" from TRD.
