FSS & DT projects Mar/April

hi all.

these are the projects i made for my FSS this month on FB.

the theme was Once Upon a Fairys wing..

they are also my DT projects for Lisa's store- Free Spirit Productions.

i had soo much fun and totally felt creative...

which is funny b/c i was really sick when i made them.

this is the banner i made

using G45 Once Upon a SpringTime papers,

doily from Lisa's store, and Prima resin embellies.

completed w/ the persons name

used G45 paper again, doily from Lisa's store

rose trim & resin frame.

handmade flowers from the papers..

G45 papers/frame/tags,

lace, Prima cabbage rose & bling,

flowers from Lisa's store,

and handmade flowers from the papers

top of the captured fairy in a clear pail,

lace wrapped around the handle,

fairy cameo on top.

fairy from the paper collection,

pink wood grass, flowers, beads

and a small bottle of fairy dust.

las but not least the cigar box.

this came out beautifully.

i distressed the paper using the Prima distress tool,

& tucked lace underneath the tears.

frame/image/& handmade flowers from the paper collection.

corrugated white paper/doily/flowers

& bead sprays from Lisa's store.

Prima bling, cabbage roses and resin fairy,

were the final touches.

sides of the box are trimmed w/ pink and white lace

and a Prima cabbage rose on the latch.

Tsunami Rose Challenge 14: anything goes

this is my 15th DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.
my 1st project for April.

i used her digi 6x6 papers "Damask Madame "

lots of pieces...my biggest project yet for TRD :)

i have been very sick for over a week now....so i decided to
do a simple project b/c i just didnt have the energy to do anything else.
this project shows the versatility of these papers...

supplies used:

digital 6x6 pages

Spellbinders Rose Creations die
hot glue gun

i love how these flowers came out....i just love roses.

the colors are just gorgeous.

i can see these on sooo many diff projects in the future.

this is a rose bud i made

close up of the larger flower.

these are just layered petals w/ a

black flat back pearl for the center...

can you see these w/some bling or buttons

as the center...gorgeous !!

TRD- anything goes.....banner

this is my 14th DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal " Life Abloom "

lots of pieces...my biggest project yet for TRD :)

supplies used:

chipboard

digital jornal pages/image
wood hearts
laces, trims, embellishment

Scotch Quick Dry glue
hot glue gun

i used the digi papers to layer
on the banner pieces.
i added a doily, and lots of embellishments

used the papers to alter this wooden heart,

then added some Prima bling

lots of laces, and trims used as well

love the flower on the left...this is from

a trim, i got from Aarti Achar.

i love the cherub on the left from Lisa's store :

an altered cloths pin from my last DT project for TRD,

and a butterfly embelly made by me :)

love the lace trim..it has hearts on it.

love this bird embelly from Lisa.

and a cherub embelly i made.

all that is left is to add the letters of the person receiving this banner,

the holes and the ribbon to hang it up.

i really hope she likes it.

TRD- altered Clothes Pins

this is my 13th DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal " Life Abloom "

i kept it very basic, but i think it came out good :)

supplies used:

small clothes pins

digital jornal pages/image

Scotch Quick Dry glue

i cut 2 strip of the paper, 1 for each side.
glued them on w/ Scotch Quick Dry
i didn't ink the edges, but on the next batch i will.

i didnt paint the sides on this set,
but i think i will on the next few sets..
maybe use Gesso, give it a Shabby Chic look.

TRD- altered book

this is my 12th DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal " Life Abloom "

i kept it very basic, but i think it came out good :)

supplies used:

baby board book

digital jornal pages/image

ATG gun

trim, flowers, bling

i LOVE the thickness of the book.
i LOVE that it's already bound.
like i said, its a work in progress,
i will continue to add more pages, embellishments.

Tsunami Rose Challenge 10: Cards

this is my 11th DT project for Tsunami Rose Designs.

i used her digi mini journal " Life Abloom "

i kept it very basic, but i think it came out good :)

ATG gun

sheer loop ribbon, rose button, doily

the page was too pretty to cover up.

so i kept it simple so as to showcase the paper more.
